Essential Information

    These catacombs are thought to be old tombs dating back to Roman times, though very little information is known about them.

    I believe they were uncovered when the area was being renovated as part of the Old Town revival. Whatever their origin, they are fascinating to look at and should be an essential part of any visit to Old Town. While here you can also visit the nearby cake shop or wander up to see the views at Muse.
